Filmfestival loopt van 9-19 oktober

spanje De lei van animatiefilms voor het evenement van dit jaar op woensdag, waaronder Chao, Angel’s Egg, All You Need Is Kill, Nightmare Bugs en Tamala 2030: A Punk Cat in Dark.
Het festival vindt plaats vanaf 9 oktober 19 oktober in Sitges, Spanje. The event will also screen the live-action film of Kotake Create’s infinite-loop horror game The Exit 8 (8-ban Deguchi).
Yūta Murano’s Seven Days War Anime Film won de prijs voor de beste animatiefilm op het 53e jaarlijkse Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival in 2020. Hallo World en Lupine III De eerste behoorden tot de andere genomineerden in de categorie.
Chao nam op 3 juli deel aan het Ottawa International Animation Festival.
De film ging in première op het Annecy International Animation Film Festival, dat van 8 juni tot 14 juni in Frankrijk liep, en won ook de juryprijs. The Japan Cuts: Festival of New Japanese Film vertoonde de film op de openingsavond in New York op 10 juli. De film werd vervolgens vertoond op het 29e jaarlijkse Fantasia International Film Festival, dat liep van 16 juli tot 3 augustus in Montreal.
De film zal vrijdag in Japanse theaters openen.
