Sega streamde dinsdag een nieuwe trailer tijdens de Gamescom Opening Night Live Preshow op dinsdag voor zijn Sonic Racing Crossworlds-game, en het onthult een samenwerking met Pac-Man van Bandai Namco. The DLC pack including Pac-Man, Ghosts, and Pac-Village launches for the game in early 2026. In turn, the Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac game, a remake of the original Pac-Man World 2 game with new features, will get a DLC pack for Sonic the Hedgehog in late 2025.
Sonic Racing Crossworlds bevat gasten van andere Sega-franchises, waaronder Hatsune Miku, een dragon’s Joker. De Minecraft-franchise verschijnt ook in het spel. De game zal ook crossoveren met Nickeledeon Animated Series: SpongeBob Squarepants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles en Avatar: The Last Airbender.
