Nihon Falcom opublikował w środę swoje sprawozdanie finansowe za rok obrotowy kończący się we wrześniu 2025 r. oraz z raportu wynika, że firma wypuści Sora no Kiseki the 2nd, remake oryginalnej gry The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, w roku finansowym kończącym się we wrześniu 2026. Sora no Kiseki the 2nd będzie kontynuacją Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (Sora no Kiseki the 1st), remake’u oryginalnej gry The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky.
Nihon Falcom wydał oryginalną grę The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, kontynuację The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky na PC w 2006 r., a następnie na PlayStation Portable w 2007 r. i PlayStation 3 w 2013 r. Firma XSEED Games wydała grę w języku angielskim na PSP w październiku 2015 r. Firma Nihon Falcom wydała remaster gry zatytułowany The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC Evolution w Japonii w grudniu 2015 r.
The Trails in the Sky 1st Remake rozdziału został wydany jednocześnie na całym świecie 19 września na Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5 i PC za pośrednictwem Steam.
Oryginalna wersja The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky zadebiutowała w Japonii na PC w 2004 roku. Gra została później wydana na PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3 i PlayStation Vita.
XSEED Games zlokalizowało i wydało The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky w 2011 roku na PlayStation Portable. Gra zainspirowała anime The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky w 2011 roku.
NIS America wydało grę The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II (The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II-CRIMSON SiN-) na Switcha, PS4, PS5 i PC za pośrednictwem Steam, Epic Games Store i GOG w języku angielskim 14 lutego. The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II-CRIMSON SiN – wydana na PS4 i PS5 w Japonii we wrześniu 2022 r.
