The staff for the second anime season of Maedakun’s Puniru is a Kawaii Slime (Puniru wa Kawaii Slime) web manga series announced four more cast members who appear in the anime’s 10th episode (22nd episode overall), on Sunday:

The anime’s second season premiered on July 6 on TV Tokyo and its affiliates at 5:30 p.m. JST. Crunchyroll streamt de anime terwijl deze wordt uitgezonden.

Het eerste seizoen van de anime ging in première in oktober 2024 om 23:45 uur. op tv Tokyo en zijn gelieerde ondernemingen. Crunchyroll streamde het eerste seizoen terwijl het werd uitgezonden.
De romantische komische manga vertelt het verhaal van Kotarō, die een slijm creëerde en het Puniru noemde. Zeven jaar gaan voorbij en Puniru transformeert in een mooie jonge dame.

Yūshi Ibe (Tearmoon Empire) keert terug om het tweede seizoen te regisseren in Toho Animation Studio. Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, Prison School, Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin) houdt opnieuw toezicht op de seriescripts, en Aya Tanaka (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation II Sub-Character Designer, Chief Animation Director) ontwerpt opnieuw de personages. Izumi Mori keert ook terug om de muziek samen te stellen. Puniru, zoals geuit door Yū Sasahara, voert het openingsnummer van het tweede seizoen”Brun-Brun”uit en een cover van het nummer van mevrouw Green Apple”Ao to Natsu”(Blue and Summer) als het eindthema-nummer.
Maedakun launched the manga in Shogakukan’s”Shūkan Coro Coro Comics”(“Weekly Coro Coro Comics”) online publication in March 2022. De manga rangschikte #4 in de webmanga-categorie van de”volgende manga awards”(Tsugi ni kuru manga taishō) in 2022. Shogakukan publiceerde het negende gecompileerde boekvolume van de manga op 28 augustus.
