De game werd gelanceerd in vroege toegang voor iOS en Android in Canada, Indonesië en de Filippijnen in mei. Vroege toegangsspelers ontvingen de jager volwassen, evenals Iori en Leona als beloningen in vroege toegang.
Het spel is een”Collection Collectible AFK RPG.”De game bevat personages uit de franchise opnieuw bedacht in Pixel Art Graphics. Players can build their own decks by combining different characters and formations, and can use them in 5v5 team battles.
The company first announced the game at Tokyo Game Show in September 2024. Pre-registration is available now.
SNK released the The King of Fighters XV game on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Windows 10, Steam, and the Epic Games Store in February 2022.
