De Britse academie van film en televisie-artikelen (bafta) geëxemuleerd team ASOBI en Sony Interactive Entertainment. Awards, waaronder de beste game, tijdens de BAFTA Games Awards op dinsdag.
De game nam ook prijzen mee naar huis voor de beste animatie, audio-prestatie, familiespel en game-ontwerp.
De show heeft Composer yoko shimomura met een fellowship en studio Zero’s Therative Categorie.
De 2025 BAFTA Games Awards vonden plaats in de Queen Elizabeth Hall op 8 april.
Astro Bot won de prijs voor Game of the Year op de 28e jaarlijkse D.I.C.E. Awards in februari, samen met”Outstanding Achievement in Animation”,”Outstanding Technical Achievement”,”Family Game of the Year”en”Outstanding Achievement in Game Design”Awards.
De game won ook Game of the Year at the Game Awards 2024-evenement in december. De game won ook het beste familiespel, de beste spelrichting en de beste actie/avontuur.
Het spel werd gelanceerd voor PlayStation 5 op 6 september.
