The film critics in the Hollywood Creative Alliance (formerly the Hollywood Critics Association) announced the nominees for the 2025 Astra TV Awards pada hari Selasa. The Dragon Ball Daima anime won Best Anime Series, and Aleks Le won Best Lead Voice-Over Performance for his role as Sung Jinwoo in the Solo Leveling Season 2-Arise from the Shadow-anime.
Other nominees for Best Anime Series included DAN DA DAN, Fire Force Season 3, Lazarus, Solo Leveling Season 2-Arise from the Shadow-, and The Apothecary Diaries Season 2.
Stephanie Nadolny sebagai putra Goku (mini) di Dragon Ball Daima juga dinominasikan untuk kinerja voice-over utama terbaik. Nominasi untuk kinerja suara pendukung terbaik termasuk Caitlin Glass untuk One Piece Season 21 dan Xolo Maridueña untuk Sakamoto Days. Jack Quaid menang karena perannya sebagai Brad di Star Trek: Seri Animasi Dek Bawah.
The Astra TV Awards termasuk kategori”Seri Anime Terbaik”tahun lalu, dan musim pertama Solo Leveling menang dalam kategori tersebut.
Nominasi lain dalam kategori seri anime terbaik tahun lalu adalah Blue Eye Samurai, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Ninja kamui, Pluto, dan Scott Pilgrim lepas landas.
Penghargaan TV Astra 2025 terjadi di kompleks Taglan di Los Angeles pada hari Selasa.
