Crunchyroll a commencé à diffuser le film d’anime original Bloody Escape: Bats Out of Hell aujourd’hui. Le film a été présenté pour la première fois au Japon le 5 janvier 2024 sous le titre Bloody Escape-Jigoku no tōsōgeki-.
Goro Taniguchi (Film One Piece Red) est crédité du concept original et est réalisateur, co-scripteur. Les autres membres du personnel incluent Yusuke Kozaki (Human Lost, Speed Grapher) en tant que concepteur de personnages original et concepteur de personnages co-sessées avec Simadoriru, et Kotaro Nakagawa (Code Geass: Lelouch de la franchise de rébellion) en tant que compositeur musical. Crunchrol previously announced that it would stream the anime film on its platform, describing the main premise as:
After being turned into a cyborg, Kisaragi faces pursuit from vampires and vengeful yakuza.
The film follows a cyborg character, who is pursued by a group of immortal vampires that intend to conquer Tokyo and the yakuza, who seek to avenge leur patron assassiné.
