O site oficial do Gundam anunciou os 20 melhores resultados provisórios em sua primeira pesquisa de classificação global do Gundam na quarta-feira. O site enfatizou que está listando esses 20 candidatos sem uma ordem específica e, portanto, os primeiros mobile suit da lista não estão necessariamente ganhando mais votos do que os posteriores.

A pesquisa de classificação global de Gundam começou em 10 de outubro e continuará até 25 de dezembro às 23h59. Horário do Japão (9h59 EST). Os resultados serão anunciados na primavera de 2026. A enquete inclui 233 unidades de Gundam em 34 séries de TV, projetos OVA e filmes diferentes de Gundam. A Pesquisa Global Gundam está disponível em japonês, inglês, chinês tradicional (Hong Kong), chinês tradicional (Taiwan), tailandês, francês, italiano, espanhol e coreano, e oferecerá chinês simplificado posteriormente.
